1. Between the Lenses: 01 New Beginnings

It’s a new year. A new start to so many things! I feel like the earth is almost taking a breath of fresh air now that it’s January and feels new again. It’s cold outside and everything is gret and dead, but there is an anticipation of Spring and new life. I’m excited to see what this year will bring!

I started this photography challenge that will have a different topic each month in hopes to integrate photography more into daily life and on the blog! More about that here…

  2. Takeaways from this Christmas..

    1. I take too many pictures of Eli

    2. Giving to others is something we should do so much more often

    3. I am so thankful that my Savior came to earth this day 2,013 years ago

    4. It was the best one to date

    (5. This is past over due, but I didn’t have wifi, and I don’t really want to talk about that…)

  3. These mountains are my friend Margaret’s happy place. I was able to visit Newland, North Carolina this past weekend and experience the magic of the Christmas tree farm and hiking. It was the perfect way to end the semester. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!

  4. Once again, I’m thankful. This year I’m particularly thankful for a car service that saves us from flat tires. Also for tire stores that stay open to 7pm to give your cars new tires. And new, wonderful friends who save you when your new tire blows. Thanksgiving is always an adventure, usually with some bumps along the way, but it’s always worth the time spent with loved ones.

  5. In honor of our family’s love for Despicable Me, we were minions for Halloween this year!

  15. On Birthdays…

Lydia’s Birthday was the 18th. I am so happy that she got an iPhone so now that I’m at school and she’s still home, it’s very easy to get in touch with her! Lydia’s the best littlest sister anyone could ask for, can’t believe you’re fourteen!!
